Addictions Support and Study Group – led by Nancy Brittain

Announcing the formation of the EFT and Addictions working group:

The Colorado Center is proud to sponsor this specialty group intended for clinicians who have taken at least the EFT Externship and who work with addictions in their practice. The group is open to interested therapists, including those newer to addictions work. Nancy’s intention is to co-create an inclusive, supportive learning community of mutual support, exploration and encouragement regarding EFT, EFFT and addictions.

About Nancy:

She earned a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver and a post-graduate certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Denver Family Institute.  Nancy brings years of experience working in Wilderness Therapy, and built the family  program for Sandstone Care,  a Denver-based outpatient substance abuse program. I She also trained extensively in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy., an evidence-based method for helping couples release negative patterns and find closeness.  She is an ICEEFT Certified EFT Therapist with a strong interest in how addictions can be treated using EFT and how active addiction impacts EFT work.
